I have installed XAMPP and everything is working fine (tested with /xampp/*.php). However, when I try to run CGI scripts for MovableType in /cgi-bin/ I get error 500. The log does not tell me anything even with LogLevel debug. If I start with xampp_start everything works fine, but if I start a service then just those CGI files break. The modperl.cgi examples work fine.

I'll keep fiddling with this tomorrow, but if anyone has any suggestions I'll be glad to take them.

This has to do with Python. I don't have the Python Add-on installed. Thanks anyays.

I am wondering whether you found a solution to your problem, I need to create blog for my faculty and I am stuck!!!!
