Hi,

Apologies for repeating a similar question to others.

To use mysql I have previously double clicked the mysql.exe file in windows explorer.

Now it doesn't work. There is a quick flash and nothing appears....

Also, when apache starts it says at the top that pma@root (etc..) does not have access to the mysql server and so does not start mysql!! :(

It also says deactivated in the status table for mysql.... :(

I am a novice to this so could anyone suggest how to improve this situation!!

Thank you, danke,

Neil

That's normal. You must give some parameter with "mysql.exe" --> "mysql.exe" must use an existent user for the connection.

Also, when apache starts it says at the top that pma@root (etc..) does not have access to the mysql server and so does not start mysql!!

What did you mean :?:
