Status test problem

I just discovered XAMPP and ran the auto install version of 1.4.10a.
Installed Apache and SQL as services on a XP pro system
The welcome page tells me "Firstly you should try »Status«"
Everything show as deactivated except HTTPS(SSL)
Everything seems to be running looking at phpinfo()
The demos seem to work... any clue on status test?

Switching to php 4 resolved this problem
