what users should I have in phpmyadmin?

Postby Gabe » 02. December 2004 14:59

Hi everything, in phpmyadmin I have a "Any" server and a "root" user, I deleted the others, I belive the any user doesent have a password, I dont know if I need that user, can I delete it? I have a password on root, I put a password on it in the privilages section and I edited the config file, I kinda would like to know if it really does have a password, is there a way to tell or test. thanks

I think, with the forum search you can find some threads about this...

Silly question, but sometimes we all forget the minor stuff..
Did you edit /.../..../phpmyadmin/config.inc.php to use the new password?
