you sup ppl is ther a self-extracting sendmail package out their that will go with xampp for windows and install easy.

Just a visitor, but Sendmail is a Unix program, and has not been compiled to run in Windows by Sendmail org.

There is a Windows version that some people have made work. I have no idea how well it works. Or even where to get it for certain.

for the sendmail Version for Windows you have to pay.
It's not opensource and nowhere near freeware.

Google should help you find it.
