XAMPP Control Panel not displaying

I can no longer see my xampp "control panel" on Windows 10.

When I click on "show hidden icons" in the task bar, I see xampp-control, and clicking on it, I see Show / Hide, and start/stop, and the other options.
But clicking on show/hide just shows and hides the icon on the task bar, and no longer brings up the XAMPP control panel.

PHP and MySQL are still running.

I don't want to re-install, as I have databases in the current version, which would need moving - or can I just Windows copy the database files?

Any suggestions?
