db1.sql 116MB import = 250 tables Presta shop... but not all

Postby lse123 » 13. March 2024 07:11

I have a Prestashop e-shop that was LAMP PHP max version: 7.0-7.1 because the version was 1.6.0.19, do not work with newer versions of PHP
I WANT TO TEST IT LOCALHOST
So, should download XAMPP like the XAMPP Control Panel v.3.2.2

To work after this should import the:
to MySQL 5.x

Q-1:
db1.sql 116MB import = 250 tables Presta shop... but not all tables are imported and get errors, ... What should I do to import all tables... successfully...?

Q-2:
Running XAMPP from a H:/xampp/ USB stick [USB external device] all databases imported saved on the USB stick [USB external device] or on the Windows 10/11 PC...?

v.3.2.2 is not a valid Xampp release. Thats only the GUI Control Panel. You still dont know this after 16(!) years of Xampp? OMG.

Q1:
1) Do not tell the MySQL version of the Presta Installation to anybody!
2) Do not tell any table names which fail!
3) Do not tell to anybody what the error message says!
4) Do not tell anything about how you tried to import the table! Dont tell the tool, dont tell any options!
5) Do not tell anyone how you build the export!

You are doing very well on avoiding to get any help! Nicely done!

Q2:
The Datadir directive of my.ini (or my.cnf) shows the folder where the database is stored. Dont show us! Usually it should be the USB stick.

What version of XAMPP Control Panel v.X.Y.Z with PHP 7.0-7.1 to download for this?

About the import, rather than getting all 250 tables, only 50-70 tables get imported... well, is needed to follow the: ...?

1.16 I cannot upload big dump files (memory, HTTP or timeout problems).
Starting with version 2.7.0, the import engine has been re–written and these problems should not occur. If possible, upgrade your phpMyAdmin to the latest version to take advantage of the new import features.
The first things to check (or ask your host provider to check) are the values of max_execution_time, upload_max_filesize, memory_limit and post_max_size in the php.ini configuration file. All of these settings limit the maximum size of data that can be submitted and handled by PHP. Please note that post_max_size needs to be larger than upload_max_filesize. There exist several workarounds if your upload is too big or your hosting provider is unwilling to change the settings:
• Look at the $cfg['UploadDir'] feature. This allows one to upload a file to the server via scp, FTP, or your favorite file transfer method. PhpMyAdmin is then able to import the files from the temporary directory. More information is available in the Configuration of this document.
• Using a utility (such as BigDump) to split the files before uploading. We cannot support this or any third party applications, but are aware of users having success with it.
• If you have shell (command line) access, use MySQL to import the files directly. You can do this by issuing the “source” command from within MySQL:
sourcefilename.sql;

Very good! Still no error messages, nothing. Perfectly hide everything!

The Xampp Version is the same as the PHP Version? For example, Xampp 7.0.15 comes with PHP 7.0.15. You still dont know? Its already for 10 years, Xampp and PHP have same version.

If you have problems with phpmyadmin, import your data with mysql.exe interpreter in a terminal. Read the manual about mysql.exe
