How to login

I'm trying to set up a local host website. I ran the xampp installation and followed the WPBeginner instructions on how to install. I created a login username and password. I thought I would be able to log back in by going back to https://localhost/website/wp-admin but it tells me "This site can't be reached." I don't know if I did something wrong but can anyone help me learn how to login? Sorry I am so inept but I'm trying to learn. Thank you in advance!

I am also enable to login at multiple websites. I have created profile account, register myself but I try to login it could not be.
