Xammp 8.2.4 and Eclipse Adoptium

I recently installed xampp on a machine with Eclipse Adptium (formerly adoptopenjdk) installed. However, I could not start Tomcat. After changing to Oracle jdk, it worked.
How to do you get xampp to work with other jdks specifically eclipse adoptium
