Almost every time I start MySQL in the XAMPP control panel, it stops automatically with "Error: MySQL shutdown unexpectedly.". It still happens even after XAMPP reinstallation, opening the control panel as administrator, and using the data in backup folder.

Meanwhile, I take a look at my window's Event Viewer and see the following error with MariaDB - not sure it is relevant or not.
Fatal error: Can't open and lock privilege tables: Incorrect file format 'global_priv'
