I recently [a week or so ago] installed xampp 8.2.4 64 bit for W10 to run WordPress on localhost. All went well till it loaded wrong yesterday and wouldn't run. After some difficuly uninstalling and reinstalling the browser [chrome] now fails to open the wordpress installation and returns this message.

Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server.
Apache/2.4.56 (Win64) OpenSSL/1.1.1t PHP/8.2.4 Server at localhost Port 80

Uninstalled, downloaded fresh install exe used a bifferent browser [firefox] to connect to localhost but still got

Which logs might be of help with this problem?

Access_log and Error_log.

Which URL do you enter into the browser?

Thanks for the reply Nobbie but things have moved on a bit; I dumped xampp and installed laragon which seems to be working fine. Just had to crack on as it was me v. deadline. As for the url it was the same that had worked fine till xampp played up. There was a power cut and I think that must have been the root cause of problems as there were messages about xampp not shutting down properly/unexpected shut down. Thanks again.
