Xampp MUST use htdocs

Postby rgtr » 04. January 2023 13:16

Hi

I have downloaded and installed the latest xampp ... but can only use the htdocs directory for my web sites ...
If I modify the httpd.conf files as follows mysql fails

DocumentRoot "C:/xampp/htdocs"
<Directory "C:/xampp/htdocs">
# DocumentRoot "C:/XJ_Sites"
# <Directory "C:/XJ_Sites">

this is very annoying ...

Any ideas ...

thanks

Hi,

I cannot reproduce your issue. Changing DocumentRoot to C:/XJ_Sites works like a charm on my XAMPP 8.2.0 environment.
Even phpmyadmin is working because it uses Alias.
