I downloaded xampp 8.1.12 for windows 10 64 bit. It announced as portable. When i started on another computer from flash, it does not work. In config files i saw absolute pathes leading to place of first installation.
Question - why it is called portable?
Can anybody help me and send URL where i can download PORTABLE version XAMPP WINDOWS 10 with MARIADB not earlier than 10.4?

It is semi-portable. Execute the file setup_xampp.bat once to adjust the paths.
Alternatively download and "install" the portable versions from sourceforge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/xampp/ ... ws/8.1.12/
These versions are setting the paths in the config files without drive letter
