SSL Certificate and Enabling Secure Connection.

Hello guys as in topic I'm looking for guidance on configuring and enabling SSL connection on self hosted Windows 10 machine.
I have tried to follow few of google acquired manuals but they seems to be outdated. Most of them asking me to mess about with vhost configuration but as soon as I modify this configuration file I'm getting error messages and Apache fails to start. I have forwarded ports 85 for http and 4433 for SSL in my router ,
there is no problem with reaching my website on both ports but both are unsecured http versions , on Linux i have been using self signed certificate but with Windows I'm moving around like blind. I'm using XAMPP 7.4 package from official website.
