XAMPP mysql start fail v.8.1.2 on Win11Pro 64bt

Postby Isador » 02. March 2022 16:14

Second time this has occurred. This time on a new Windows 11 Pro 64bit workstation. The same problem occurred on a previous Windows 10 Pro 64bit workstation. This time we installed XAMPP and it worked for about three days and then crashed due to not being able to start MySQL. That being the case, I am shy of saying it is OS version sensitive. (Bear in mind, I've been doing webdev, DB mgmt, network administration for 35+ years.....)
Not seeing where I can attached a doc to this post and with all the logs etc requested on the page I was referred to (viewtopic.php?f=16&t=72518#p233616).

Very frustrating.

My document with all the info and many logs is a lengthy document, ~ 50 pages. Very encompassing and hopefully containing the info the devs need to correct the database issues.
Where can I attach the doc??? Not seeing a link option on this post page.

each post here can have 60000 characters. If you exceed this limit with your logs, than you can also post an excerpt of your logs. ~50 last lines of the log should be enough.
We don't provide any support via personal channels like PM, email, Skype, TeamViewer!

We had this same problem a year or so ago, and you said you wanted more data. So, this time I took the time to collect it.
