Security access only to one directory

Postby carles9000 » 14. October 2021 12:14

Hi,

I am Carlos and this is my first message in the forum. I am learning Apache and hope to find solutions here. Thanks in advance for your help.

In a windows environment with apache, can someone explain to me how user/group works and how it directly affects access to only one directory? If the web is in this directory -> c:\xampp\apache\htdocs\myweb and I only want web users to have access to it, how should I do it? I think it is a concept issue...

I already saw the <directory> directives but I can't quite make it work or I don't know what is the best way to do it.

Thank you all.
Carlos.
