subfolder website redirection

Dear All,
I've installed XAMPP server to Mic Server 2016 and created a Wordpress webpage on it. My Plan is to publish this webpage as intranet to my company.
Webpage content is under C:\xampp\htdocs\intranet.
the url should be like https://intranet.abccompany.com
I've also added to a dns record to redirect user to the url.
But due to Apache server defaults when I try to go to https://intranet.abccompany.com system redirects me to DASHBOARD. and I need to type http://intranet.abccompany.com/intranet to reach the website
I need to install SSL cert but it is not possible to do this to subfolder.
I need to redirect users without typing /intranet but how ?

Hi,

You need to create a virtualhost matching on port 443 for ServerName intranet.abccompany.com
This new VirtualHost needs to have set the DocumentRoot to C:/xampp/htdocs/intranet.
