Hello everyone!

Today I came across some problem with xampp and another app which was using the same port for the MySQL connection. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the XAMPP and after that I realized I forgot the back up the htdocs files.
My question is:
1)Is there a way to recover the files from htdocs which were deleted once the xampp app was unnistalled?(I tried with 3rd party software like DiskDrill and iSkySoft Data Recovery but without success)
2)Why do xampp delete all the files from htdocs when is being uninstalled?

You can only try with third party programs like you already tried.

XAMPP uninstaller asked "Remove the C:\xampp\htdocs\ folder too?". If you tell XAMPP to do so ...
