Error: MySQL shutdown unexpectedly

Hello,
I am a beginner in using Wordpress on localhost. Please can you help me and please explain in an easy way (step by step)
When I start the MySQL module in the Xampp control panel today (while it was perfectly working in the past 2 weeks) I get this error:

Hello,
I tried to fix the MySQL shutdown unexpectedly error with help of previous answers from the forum but I did not succeed.
I uninstalled Xampp and reinstalled it allowing the access to Windows Defender Firewall blocks on private and public networks. Now MySQL in Xampp is working again (!!) but I lost all my database and websites I have created on localhost!
How can I avoid to loose all my work next time when I have to uninstall/reinstall Xampp??

I have started facing a similar issue since yesterday. Previously, I had no such issue everything worked fine. Now, Im trying to find a fix to this issue.
