HI,

I downloaded xampp and installed it my windows 8.1 64 bit laptop but i'm unable to start apache in any way. Can any one help me on this?

So what is the problem? Do you need a new computer mouse to click the Start Button?
You need to explain much much more in detail what you are doing and what is happening.

when I start apache im receiving a error "the procedure entry point isalpha could not be located in the dynamic link library c:\xampp\apache\bin\pcre.dll".
