Xampp homepage is missing

Suddenly the XAMPP's home page was replace with a blank page with a tab titled "Untitled -1.
Clicking the Admin on Xampp control panel opens up the IIS welcome page.
If I enter "Localhost:8080 in the address bar, instead opening Xampp homepage, it shows a blank page.
It won't open the localhost. How do I fix it please.

Did you replace the file \xampp\htdocs\index.php?
Or changed the DocumentRoot in \xampp\apache\conf\httpd.conf?
Or defined virtual hosts?
Are you sure the XAMPP Apache is currently listening on port 8080?

Multiple reasons are possible.

Of all the possible reasons I think I must have replaced the index.php. And yes i changed the port to 8080 because IIS10 webserver is using port 80.
How do i fix the index file please?

You were right. I named one of the php files that I was practicing sending to email as index.php and saved it htdocs. I opened it and that
was it.

You can reach the Dashboard even without that index.php file by url http://localhost:8080/dashboard/

I fixed it. I copied the file from my laptop into external HHD and pasted into htdoc in the desktop and it worked.
By the way I found a reliable youtube video showing step by step how to edit php.ini and sendmail.ini. now I can
send and receive message into gmail.

Yeah, there are plenty of tutorials available in the internet relating Sendmail configuration.
