Problems with the Windows version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

Hi,
When I try to install xampp, it says things will go wrong because of user account control (UAC), and tells me to change the directory for installation, but gives no opportunity to change that directory.
Any help? Thanks!

These two are just warnings, they occure every time regardless of the settings you choose.
But it is highly recommend to install xampp in your hdd root directory to end up with c:/xampp or d:/xampp, etc.

it wont
ask you to change the directory, what you need to do is change the default suggested directory in the installation dialogue itself...
