Acces Denied

Hi, First time I installed XAMMP on my pc i got an error message when trying to connect to my phpadmin this is what i got

Access Denied "
mysqli::real_connect(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'pma'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
Connection for controluser as defined in your configuration failed.
mysqli::real_connect(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user ''@'localhost' (using password: YES)
phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server."

I have tried researching but cant find anyting

Hi,

Are you sure the MariaDB version of XAMPP is running and not a different one?

Hi I would think so I’ve downloaded the Most recent version of XAMPP, I am new to XAMMP but I’ve had a look into the the file location and can’t seem to find “MARIADB”?

There are only two reasons why this issue can happen:
Either there is another MySQL Server running on port 3306 and not the XAMPP MariaDB one
or you have manipulated the default users or configuration files coming with XAMPP.

What is the full contents of the XAMPP control panel log?

so i just uninstalled xampp and deleted all files, re-installed and its working now but this is what the log was saying before i uninstalled it

the log seemed to be okay without any errors I am not sure why this happened but re installing the software seemed to work for me Thanks anyway my friend.
