Postby mkashifakram » 12. August 2020 23:28

Hi,

I have recently done an in place upgrade of OS Win Server 2008 R2 to Win Server 2012 R2, everything after upgrade works however i'm having issues now with CGI, its coming as deactivated.
The URL which was working before upgrade isnt working anymore  .

Any advise.

Thanks,
Kashif

Hi,

Which XAMPP version number are you using? v2.4 is not a valid version number for XAMPP.
What is the contents of your Apache error.log file?
Which url is no longer working?

best wishes,
Altrea

the version is XAMPP 1.8.3.
The url is localhost:3200
error is The system cannont find the file specified. client 127.0.0.1 :50499 AH01223: couldn't spawn child process: c:\xampp\cgi-bin\cgi.cgi

eventhough the cgi.cgi file is present.

What is the contents of your cgi.cgi file?
Is the perl binary present as written in the shebang file?
