Using Xampp 7.1.4 and Joomla. Wish to update the php from 7.1 to a later 7.4 etc. Have checked out a number of methods to achieve what should be a relatively simple process however when attempting to restart Xampp via the console Apache attempts to start and then stops. Obviously missing something. Assistance would be appreciated thanks. Cheers..... Rod

We don't provide any assistance about upgrading any of the core single components.
The only supported way is the full uninstall/reinstall way
