Perl Version update for XMAPP

Are there any plans to update to a newer version of Perl such as 5.30.2? The current Perl version 5.16.3 packaged with Windows XAMPP 7.4.6 has a number of vulnerabilities and is quite old.

Thanks for reporting this. We will work on upgrading Perl in the XAMPP assets. Unfortunately, I can't provide you with any estimation on this. We will continue posting here any updates.

We released a new version of XAMPP updating Perl to version 5.30.3. The released versions are 7.2.31-1, 7.3.19-0, and 7.4.7-0
