usb with drive letter

Hi,

I'm using a usb drive with different partitions: Partition1 for software, Partition2 for data/websites. I mount my usb drive with the same drive letters on different systems.
for having mysql running partition1 using the data stored on Partition2, I need to have in the config files full path names including drive.

The setup_xampp.bat is in this case not helpfull: it remove the drive letter as it detects "usb"

It there a workaround.
