tomcat error in xampp startup

Hello. I'm new to this type of thing, so please be gentle!
I installed xampp last week and it worked beautifully. Then yesterday everything started acting weird.. text editors, xampp, local host would not work properly. So I uninstalled my text editors and xampp and even had problems uninstalling them! Then I reinstalled them and this error message was the first problem I ran into:

Any insight?
