I need some help with the directory of my php shell

Postby jordanlg80 » 19. January 2020 07:14

I am having lots of problems with my php shell and xampp. I already know that the default directory is C:/xampp/htdocs/c99/c99.php. c99 is the php shell I am using. And I put in this path into my chrome browser and it keeps giving me an error. It keeps saying object not found! And I cannot seem to get my c99 shell or my wso php shell to show up. Is my directory correct? Thats what I need to know here. But I already know that the default directory is xammp/htdocs/c99.php. But this is not working for me now, all of a sudden. So do you know what I am doing wrong here? Is my path directory wrong or something? So please let me know on how to fix this for me, because now I can't seem to get my php shell to show up. And it keeps saying object not found. And my servers are all running as well. So please let me know on how to fix this. And let me know on what directory my php shell should be in, because this is not working. So help me get it back up and running. So thanks a lot.

If your script is saved in C:/xampp/htdocs/c99/c99.php the correct url you need to request your browser would be http://localhost/c99/c99.php

Im sorry but it's still not working. And it keeps saying object not found! So what is going on here? Please let me know if I am doing something wrong. Because this should be working, and it is still not working for me. So what should be the directory? Because I have tried everything, and nothing is working for me. So please let me know on where the correct directory is. So I need to know that. So thanks a lot.

There is nothing more to know. That's all the magic.

Maybe you should start providing proper information. For example the contents of your Apache access.log.
Please double check your save path and browser url too.

best wishes,

I got it working on my Pc Windows 7 side by virtual machine, but now I can't get it to work with my Mac side. I typed in localhost:8080/xampp/shell/c99.php, but it kept saying object not found! So what is the correct path for mac users? I need to know this. Or is the path localhost:8080/htdocs/shell/c99.php? Please I need to know on what the correct path is. So I am sorry about this, so please help, So thanks a lot.

localhost is only correct if XAMPP is on the same machine than the request is coming from.
Otherwise you need to use the computername or ip adress instead of localhost
