Problems with the Windows version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

Hello,
I would like to change the apache IP from localhost to a local address 192.168.X.X
I modified it in httpd.conf
listen 192.168.X.X
servername 192.168.X.X
But when I type this address 192.168.X.X: 80 in my browser it doesn't work. There is certainly another setting to do but I do not know which one?
any help please.

Hi salwa17,
Apache can only listen to an IP adress your computer NIC is already configured to.
So, is this local adress you want Apache to work on configured on your NIC?
best wishes,
Altrea
