relatively newbie to this type of thing so patience might be needed
I've installed xampp for windows, 7.3.11
Up till now I've been writing php locally and then uploading my php to my website via standard cpanel. Now that I'm getting more knowledgeable I though I needed a proper local dev environment so installed xampp.
So, running locally came to problem #1 when trying to access the 'stats_dens_pmf_poisson' & 'stats_cdf_poisson' method I was getting an undefined function error. As both methods are PECL function that are packaged in the stats dll I downloaded the dll and added it to the ext folder in the php folder and added 'extension=stats' to the php.ini file. Logical enough I think?
So restarted the apache server
stats_cdf_poisson runs exactly as I would expect - job done
problem #2
stats_dens_pmf_poisson now returns 'NFA', I would be expected something like 0.078
The same test file works as I would expect on my website, returns 0.078, so it's not a coding issue as far as I can tell. My cpanel php version is 7.2
Any thoughts? Any guidance on where to look for debug?
