Hi,

I downloaded the XAMPP package 7.2.15 and while the how To help file mentions that there is a "Security console" that can be reached via a local link http://localhost/security - there is nothing. Of course I tried the link also with a proper port number (in my case port 8080). There can not seriously be "anything", because nothing like "security" exists in HTDOCS folder. The same is valid also for the latest release 7.3.7. - security console also missing.

what happened to that? How am I supposed to change the default Apache admin password (when Im a newbie and dont understand it much?)

are you also going to modify the release and either include a missing "Security Console" screen or change the How To manual and delete the note about Security Console?

That's just legacy documentation. Ignore it.

but its misleading to "freshmen" like me - when they read about it in the documentation. At its still there in the newest release.
