localhost took too long to respond

Postby sakithban » 28. May 2019 09:25

I am a 15 year old Web Developer. I have designed few websites.I am using Xampp Control Panel.I installed it about a week ago.On that day it worked without any problem.But after about a week ,I started Apache module in Xampp Control Panel module gets green colour then it shows its PID,Port which is 80 and 443,and the .I headed to Google Chrome and when I typed `localhost` there I get the error 'This site can’t be reached.localhost took too long to respond.' after about loading for 2-3 minutes.During loading I see `Connecting...` at the bottom left corner of Google Chrome.
And I am running Windows 10 Home.After I installed Xampp Windows was updated about twice.

I have tried,
In `Xampp -> Netstat` there was no another application listening on port 80 except `httpd.exe`.
I have reinstalled Xampp about more than 5 times.
I have typed `netsh winsock reset` and restarted the system.(This was in a StackOverFlow Thread)
I have uninstalled Xampp and tried IIS(Internet Information Services) Web Server and it worked fine.But I need to work in Apache.I don't know why IIS worked and Apache didn't.

How to fix this.I want my Apache Server to run without any problem.

hi,
set this parameters in php.ini :

post_max_size = 600M
upload_max_filesize = 500M
max_execution_time = 5000
max_input_time = 5000
memory_limit = 600M

after that in the file : C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
add : 127.0.0.1 localhost

What do these parameters change exactly? I kind of don't want to blindly edit my php.ini.
