XAMPP for Windows 64bit

Postby worksfather » 28. February 2019 13:13

Hello,

I have been using xampp for a long time now. I had the 32-bit version. Yesterday, I wanted to start working on a Drupal site and I wanted to change the version of PHP for more performance. And in my research, I just saw your announcement of the new version. I was happy! I was happy!

So I first took version 7.3.2, but it didn't start. It told me "Port 80 in use by "Unable to get info" with PID XXXX!

But when I check XXXX in the services, it doesn't match anything.

So I changed versions to take the 7.2.15, but nothing has changed.

On the forums, I came across https://stackoverflow.com/questions/11294812/how-to-change-xampp-apache-server-port, I tried but it still doesn't work. I have changed the ports several times. Every time, it always tells me that this port is also busy. And what I find strange, when I go to check in the services, I notice that it is "httpd.exe" that occupies the ports. And now I don't understand anything. I was thinking that if httpd.exe occupied the ports, it should work. Maybe I'm wrong.

Help me, please. I don't know what to do anymore. I've tried everything, I'm stuck!

I use under Windows 7 SP1 64-bit SP1
