Well, I have solved this by adding a task to task scheduler as show in a pdf if someone can give a place to add it

Why not? What makes you believe that your PC gets "vulnerable"? UAC is meant for multi-user access only, do you share your PC with someone and you dont trust him? I do neither, i never had a PC which is configured for more than one user and if, if would only share with someone i know and trust.

Sorry Nobbie I won't warrant that with an answer apart from saying it isn't just about trusting someone.... so do a search on "why shouldn't I turn off UAC"

No, why should i? I know very well what it means and i do have MY OWN oppinion about it. There was no UAC before Windows VIsta and nobody felt unsafe for many many years ....

Last not least, there is no need to turn it off, simply install Xampp to c:/xampp as recommended and/or run the Control Panel with Administrator rights.

The UAC message is just a warning. XAMPP can work very well with UAC enabled in most cases.

I agree...I just hate the annoying popup and it just saves that.....sorry if I caused a storm here....
I will keep my opinions to myself and then it won't annoy anyone...
