I cannot came across any solution if i don't get realistic error messages.
Getting an error message listing a syntax error relating to a fil which is no longer present in the main configuration file is technically not possible in my opinion.
Anyways: a fresh XAMPP installation should be a way to get back a running XAMPP installation again.
