Error in running Apache on XAMPP

I’ve downloaded XAMPP but receive an error message. After speaking to the IT team they’ve mentioned the firewall is blocking this, is anyone able to advise which ports security would have to open for XAMPP to work?

The error message I receive is:

16:37:11 [main] Initializing Modules
16:37:11 [Apache] Problem detected!
16:37:11 [Apache] Port 80 in use by "Unable to open process" with PID 4!
16:37:11 [Apache] Apache WILL NOT start without the configured ports free!
16:37:11 [Apache] You need to uninstall/disable/reconfigure the blocking application
16:37:11 [Apache] or reconfigure Apache and the Control Panel to listen on a different port
16:37:11 [main] Starting Check-Timer
16:37:11 [main] Control Panel Ready

Fire your IT, they are TOTALLY WRONG.

Enter "Port 80 in use by "Unable to open process" with PID 4!" into Google for a better advice.

Thanks Nobbie, I searched Google and managed to find some instructions (link below), managed to get it working by stopping world wide web publishing in services.
