Hi all,

So, I'm trying to set-up an offfline Wordpress site as so as to learn a little more. I found this page https://managewp.com/blog/how-to-create-a-local-wordpress-website-in-windows-with-xampp and everything was going smoothly until the penultimate step. I seem to always get a 404 whenever I try to sign into local host. I folloed all the steps perfectly (multiple times). Some people in the comments say it works, some say it doesn't.

I'm running Windows 10 (64) v.1803
XAMPP v.3.2.2
Latest WordPress install
Notepad++

I'm really not very good at this sort of thing so I really do appreciate any help on offer.

Hi,

WHat is the contents of your Apache access.log file?
In which path did you install wordpress?
Which URL did you try to access your wordpress?
