Hello--
I am new to XAMPP and am trying to install it. Got a similar error.
[Tomcat] Attempting to start Tomcat app...

7:03:12 PM [Tomcat] Make sure you have Java JDK or JRE installed and the required ports are free
7:03:12 PM [Tomcat] Check the "/xampp/tomcat/logs" folder for more information

I have JDK insalled and the user variable Path is set.
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-13.0.2\bin
can run the javac .

Do I need to put Java bin in the system wide path or is it OK to have it in the user path.

Any help would be most appreciated.
