localhost/xampp not working

I'm using Windows 10, and installed XAMMP 7.2.6. All went well, in the control panel all seems to be OK.

However, in the browser (Firefox), surfing to localhost/xampp I do get a page "Index of /xammp"
On that page is a link to the "parent directory".
Activating that link goes to xammp/dashboard, which is shown.

Something seems to be not working.

Any suggestions?

All is working correctly.
The Dashboard is the "new" default welcome page of xampp.
The old orange administration page doesn't exists for some years now.

just read newer documentation about Xampp instead of watching old tutorials or videos. The directory ./xampp was abolished years ago, instead there is only the dashboard at http://localhost. There is also an updated FAQ on https://www.apachefriends.org/faq_windows.html

I did discover the dashboard, but was not clever enough to understand that the installation guide was gone.

All is OK now, Joomla is up and running on XAMMP.
