apache failure to start

Hello SIR/MA.

Please am having an issuse with apache on my XAMPP local server. Whenever i tried to start it, it brings this up for me.

Error: Apache shutdown unexpectedly.

6:41:31 PM [Apache] improper privileges, a crash, or a shutdown by another method.
6:41:31 PM [Apache] Press the Logs button to view error logs and check

Please how can I resolve this issue. Your response will be highly welcome.
