Making a social media site using PHP/MySQL.

Have made the register/login system, the frontend design of the site (including header included on every page) and a newsfeed where posts can be written.

Have now started the comment section option. Trying to post a link of a username ([firstname]_[lastname]) which was set when the user registers. It links to a profile page for that user.

Onclick, nothing happens. Right click-> open in new tab -> and this error appears:

Access forbidden!
You don't have permission to access the requested object. It is either read-protected or not readable by the server.

Tried editing the Xampp httpd.conf file, changing the "Require all granted" to Require none" and back. No change.

Well, Apache's error log [I:\xampp\apache\logs\error.log] always has 403s recorded and gives a hint about what the problem is.

An obvious error (i really wonder why you dont realize it), in your line 151 you are using "<?php echo $posted_by?>" for creating an URL for the link, but as the logfile tells, the variable $posted_by is unknown to PHP (you did not assign any value to $posted_by) and that finally leads to that error you get. That is an invalid link in your code, check out why you are using $posted_by and why it does not have any value.

P.S.: I dont think, that this SELECT returns any rows:

I dont believe that your database contains any record "WHERE post_id='post_id'", as post_id surely is an integer and not a string and finally never contains the value 'post_id'. Therefore the following loop is not executed only once, therefore $posted_by does not contain any value. Maybe you wanted to search for $post_id instead, but you missed the $-sign.
