XAMPP Portable Broken

Hi Everyone,

Been using Xampp for a while now and it's been great. However, I noticed all of the most recent versions (PHP 7+) zipped up are broken unless they are opened under the C:\xampp folder. Everything I'm reading points to the zipped (7z or zip) installations are supposed to be portable. However, whenever I open the xampp control panel, both Apache and MariaDB fail to start because of path related issues.

Anyone else having theses issues?

You need to execute the setup_xampp.bat script to correct the paths.
That is not a problem of recent XAMPP versions, that was the case since the very early zip versions too.
