Server not found error

I have XAMPP set up to look in G:\My Drive which is my Google File Stream virtual drive. It has worked well until now and now I can't get any of my customers' websites up on localhost. vhosts.conf is correctly set up, as is the Windows hosts file. XAMPP\properties.ini points to G: etc. as does httpd.conf. Typing my PC's IP address to activate sthe simple localhost/ link, shows me, interestingly, the first site in my drive, so there's something missing in the setup... help
