phpmyadmin - The mbstring extension is missing
Posted: 30. January 2018 16:56I am setting up XAMPP on Windows 7 (64) system. Services are up, but when accessing phpmyadmin, i keep on getting the following error:
The mbstring extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration.
Scanned the net, found links to correct LocationMatch in httpd-xampp.conf, but not able to find it.
Also if i install XAMPP in new directory, i have to correct all config files to point to new directory. Is this expected? or i am missing something here?
