We are staging a web site hosted on GoDaddy as a Managed Wordpress Site. We decided to do the majority of dev work locally so we FTPed the site to a local xampp dev environment on Win Srv 2012 std. We exported the wordpress database to our local site, updated the options settings, reconfigged wp-config db info, updated site url and home settings, enabled all permissions. The local site renders as expected but all the menu selections redirect to the localhost xampp dashboard.
What are we missing ? Any clues ?

Please ask in a WordPress Support forum as this is a wordpress issue. There is nothing you can do in Xampp, that must be any configuration option from wordpress.
