Xampp and Digikam on Win7-64

Postby pd2 » 17. January 2018 22:59

Been using Xampp (3.2.2) for a long time now without problems as host for Joomla development and test.
Installed latest Digikam under Win7 which resulted in Xampp not working. Tried playing with port numbers but could not get Xampp working. Digikam ran perfectly!
Currently uninstalled Digikam (a great program by the way), reverted the port numbers to original and Xampp is running perfectly again.

Is there an easy way to achieve what I want?
Can I somehow install Digikam within Xampp so that they use the same DB calls?
Or is there something that I really don't understand?
BTW I am not a programmer, just an amateur. :?

What is Digikam?
We don't provide any support via personal channels like PM, email, Skype, TeamViewer!

It's like porn for programmers 8)

Digikam it's an open source program for Photo.
Similar to Lightroom and Photoshop
