Need to change some limits

I am getting a message from ta program that I am trying to install that I need to raise some limits:
Memory limit: 256M
Upload MaxFileSize: 32M
Max Post size:32M

When I try to edit php.ini
or my.ini I break xampp and have to re-install
I am assuming the lines should be:
upload_max_filesize = 32M
post_max_size =32M
memory_limit = 256M

but where should I add these lines xampp ver= v3.2.2

I was able to solve this by selecting config next to Apache in the control penel and then selecting php.ini
