New Xampp Email Problem

You Can Send Mail In Xampp But It Require Some Setup And Configurations.

I absolutely agree to you and if you follow this whole thread, you will see, that i tried everything to help. But unfortunately "jperson19468" either did not provide full configuration details, and/or conflicting configuration settings. I could not help him any further, but I'm absolutely convinced I could have got it working. Of course you can send email via sendmail.exe provided by Xampp.

After selecting "Troubleshooting" on the file at C:\xampp\sendmail\sendmail.exe and Righ-clicking on Sendmail.exe I received the following information:

Incompatible Program
sendmail is incompatible
Fix program sendmail
Provides steps to fix the incompatible program
Compatibility Mode
Compatibility modes applied:
Windows 7
User verification: Fix Worked
Find and fix problems with running older programs on this version of windows

Does this mean my sendmail program was out of date? I thought this gets loaded down with Xampp?
