In this how-to,
http://<server>/dashboard/docs/activate-use-xdebug.html
it mentions to go to the [XDebug] section of the php.ini file and perform the configuration to include the xdebug extension, etc...
But the distributed php.ini doesn't have such a section. I'm assuming I would simply create it myself, but the instructions are basically wrong.

Never mind. Figured it out.

Would you mind helping others as to HOW you figured it out?
